Axynor is a precision metalworking company founded in Barcelos on one simple idea. Every part leaves our workshop as if it were the only one we had to make that day. Three decades later, we still build for clients who refuse error margins.
We operate 15 CNC machining centres, an in-house 3D metrology lab and a certified team of 20+ specialists. From single prototypes to series of thousands, in steel, stainless, aluminium and technical plastics.

WHAT WE DO
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining enables any component to be produced with the tightest metrics. We run 15 machining centres — milling, horizontal and vertical lathes — for light and heavy parts, from single units to thousands of pieces. Materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, Teflon, nylon, PET, PEEK, POM, PEI and graphite, with national and international delivery.
Turning and milling are the foundation this company was built on — and remain one of our core specialities. Over 20 dedicated technicians operate conventional and CNC lathes and mills, handling components from small to large scale. We guarantee tolerances of ±0.01 mm and high-quality surface finishes.
Using certified equipment, we perform dynamic testing and balancing of industrial rotors, fans and turbines. Calibration follows the standards required by clients in wind energy, naval and pharmaceutical sectors, including a balancing certificate. We balance rotors up to 2 000 kg with 0.1 g/kg precision.
Specialist repair of lobe, gear, diaphragm and sanitation pumps. We replace bearings, mechanical seals and gaskets, and fully reconstruct critical hydraulic components. Service available across every industrial sector, with rapid turnaround to minimise production downtime.
Full refurbishment of industrial electric motors — shafts, bearings, seals and rewinding. We recover mission-critical motors to reduce downtime, extend equipment lifespan and restore original tolerances. Service available for motors of any size, including high-power units.
We perform all welding types — TIG, MIG, MAG and ETD — on pipes, shafts, flanges and profiles. Steel, stainless steel and aluminium, with certified technicians and high-quality equipment for demanding projects. X-ray quality control available for critical structures.
Preventive and corrective maintenance for motors, pumps, reducers and rollers. We replace bearings, seals and gaskets, and manufacture and repair shafts and gears. Annual maintenance contracts and 24-hour response for industrial clients across mainland Portugal.
Sheet cutting and bending, metal and GRP (glass-reinforced polyester) structure fabrication — from design through on-site installation. Complete solutions for demanding industrial environments: walkways, railings, covers, supports and custom structures.
